Denim is a timeless and versatile fabric celebrated for its durability and classic appeal. With its sturdy weave and often indigo-dyed blue color, denim is known for its strength and resistance to wear, making it a popular choice for jeans, jackets, and casual wear.
At Merrachi, each piece of denim is unique, this due to the stone washing process used during production. Stone washing is a textile technique that gives new garments a naturally worn and lived-in look. This is achieved by washing the finished garments with stones, which gently wear down the fabric, creating the distinct stone-washed appearance. As a result, every denim product is one-of-a-kind, with its own unique character.
To care for denim, machine wash on 40 degrees to prevent shrinking and fading. Turn garments inside out before washing to protect both the color and fabric, avoiding bleach and fabric softeners. Air drying is best to maintain the fabric's shape and minimize shrinkage.
For maintenance tips, avoid washing denim too frequently to preserve its fabric and color. To remove wrinkles, iron on a low heat setting while the fabric is slightly damp or use a pressing cloth to avoid direct heat.
