Our Viscose Knit yarn, made from 80% Polyester and 20% Viscose, is an excellent choice for knitted hijabs and abayas. This blend combines the strength and durability of polyester with the luxurious softness and fluid drape of viscose, creating garments that are both comfortable and visually appealing. The fabric's smooth, stretchy texture enhances the flow and fit of your garments while maintaining their shape.

To keep your Viscose Knit garments looking their best, machine wash themon 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. Turning the garments inside out before washing helps protect the fabric's surface from abrasion and preserves its texture. For drying, air drying is preferred to prevent any potential stretching and to maintain the garment's original shape. If ironing is necessary, use a low-temperature setting and a pressing cloth to avoid any shine and to keep the fabric smooth. Additionally, avoid hanging the garments on sharp or heavy hangers that might stretch or damage the fabric. Instead, use padded hangers or fold them neatly.

The advantages of our Viscose Knit yarn include its elegant appearance, exceptional comfort, and easy maintenance. It drapes beautifully and provides a flattering fit, making it ideal for both everyday wear and special occasions. However, the yarn can be prone to snagging and pilling, areas of the garment that experience frequent rubbing—such as under the arms, on the sides, or where a bag might rest—are more likely to pill. The friction causes the fibers to lift from the surface and form small balls. The pilling can be removed by the use of a fabric comb or shaver.
Additionally, the yarn may lose its shape if not dried properly, which is why air drying is recommended.
